Native to the area, Angela Anderson returned to Maine after following her passion for art and music to the West Coast, Europe and NYC. Career highlights include collaborations with German superstar artist Martin Kippenberger, and posing for Philip Pearlstein In New York. Being a local artist in Maine and in Southwest Florida with husband Joseph Pomerleau is the best landing she could have hoped for. These pieces from 2025 have origins in technique from earlier figurative series, but abstract. Inspired by sister Valerie, who chose the only painting I had in this style for her home renovation.
